Zwischen Fotografie und Zeichnung entstehen fragile Bildräume aus Linien, Spiegelungen und Verdichtungen. Die Arbeiten bewegen sich an einer Wahrnehmungsschwelle - zwischen Ruhe und Bewegung, Sichtbarkeit und Auflösung, erkennen und Nicht-Erkennen.

„Traces of an In-Between“ (Spuren eines Dazwischen), 2024

Meine Arbeit untersucht Übergänge als dynamische Zonen. Mich interessiert, was geschieht, wenn Grenzen nicht als Linien, sondern als ausgedehnte Räume erscheinen. Durch Wiederholung, Überlagerung und minimale Verschiebung verdichte ich fotografische Motive zu strukturellen Gefügen. Bewegung entsteht im Spannungsfeld von Kontrolle und Eigendynamik. Das Bild ist kein abgeschlossener Moment, sondern ein Prozess, der sich über seinen Rahmen hinaus denken lässt. Ausdehnung, Verdichtung und Drift sind dabei keine Gegensätze, sondern Kräfte, die zugleich wirken.

A visual play of mirroring and reversal that explores polarity and duality. The repeated figures reflect and affirm one another, evoking opposites such as yin and yang, positive and negative, and generating new associations and meanings.

Loosening the Braid, 2022–2023

Inspired by the fairy tale of Rapunzel, this work reflects on the braid as a symbol of generations of women and inherited family narratives. It considers the transmission of values and paradigms from mother to daughter, exploring the possibility of accepting, rejecting, or transforming this legacy.

Sangre de Bodas, 2020
Photography, 30 × 40 cm
Sangre de Bodas (Wedding Blood) explores cultural heritage, femininity, and the connection between body and sexuality. The work reflects on traditions surrounding marriage and womanhood, with blood symbolizing both lineage and the physical reality of the female body. The photograph brings together the inherited and the personal, the sacred and the vulnerable.
